LaFO is pleased to have participated in a capacity strengthening training organized by Strategic Initiative for Women in the Horn of Africa (SIHA) in Adama from May 22–24, 2026. The training focused on strengthening organizational resilience and influence within the development sector, with sessions covering advocacy, conflict-sensitive programming, gender-transformative programming, and resource mobilization. The event also created a valuable opportunity for networking, experience sharing, peer learning, and discussion on issues of mutual interest among participating organizations. LaFO was able to share its own experiences while learning from the practices and perspectives of other organizations. LaFO sincerely appreciates Strategic Initiative for Women in the Horn of Africa (SIHA) for organizing and facilitating this important training opportunity and looks forward to continued collaboration and networking in the future.
